At that point the results of the search are listed directly above those
options.  The results are based on searching the locations you configured it
to search.

When you click on one of those options a search window opens, displays the
results for whichever option you selected and gives you an option to open
advanced search. 

Play with the options in the search window and in advanced search to see how
various options affect the results.

I see that but then it asks "search everywhere"? or "search the internet". 
I just want to search files on my computer.
