Try Googling "Real Alternative". This allowed me to play Real Player files
in Windows Media Player. It may work on other players as well, I'm not sure.

Hi Andrew,

What do you mean by SP?  I was looking for a program that would play .rm 
files (besides the realplayer) or something that will convert the .rm to a 
format I can play on another player.  I am not too familiar with ipod 
format.  Do you need an ipod player to play those?  I was thinking of movie 
files.  Does the ipod format play movie files or just sound?
