Okay NightSneak, let the fun begin.

First you need to make a list of what files you want to end up on what
drives for the end of this, as there is no way to do easily what you want,
as in just changing drive letters and getting the bigger drives.

You will need to remove your swap file in windows, so it is just on the C
drive. To be honest it is not a good idea to make a partition for the swap
file on the same hard disk ,as it makes it slower and does not do what you
were trying to do. (How much ram and what OS are you using?)

First off empty all you can of the H and I drives, but you can use and leave
the J drive as is now. This will eventually become the G drive, but its
drive letter is slowly going to head that was as we go.

Once you have moved all files out of the H and I drives, you can run
Partition magic, either as a boot disk or as the full program from Windows.
What ever you do, do not use the format option. you only need delete and
resize.

Now you are using partition magic, delete the H and I drives completely,
this leaving you a big empty space. Now you can make the 40gig partition by
resizing the last partition on the right of the image. You should then also
be able to move / resize the G drive along, using move, and make it a 10gig
next to
the 40gig partition. his should now leave a little piece of unused disk
space.

Reboot the machine and let all the above happen.

Now empty out the F drive totally.

Reopen Partition magic now. Delete the empty F drive.

Now move the E drive up also, and make it a 10 gig drive also, again using
the move / resize function only.

Reboot the machine and then do the same for the C and D drives, each one in
turn.

This will now give you your 5 drives you want, and each should be as close
to
the size you want, as I don't think you will get exactly 10's and a 40 GB
drive.

If this is not enough information to help you, please tell me, so I can try
to explain it more and if need be if you are happy, send you some pictures
to your private address also. Then you can follow what you need to do.

Trevnal,

Thanks so much for taking the time.

I want to save the data that is on F:, H:, I:, and J:.

What is on F: now I had moved to free up some space on J:
