If that is what you want it for, you don´t need 3 gig memory or dual core...
on the other hand, if money is not a problem, go for a good brand name
regardless of the deal. I personally like the Sony Vaio or Toshiba, they
both have a good range of models.

Anyone seen any good deals lately on a laptop? I am looking for one. I am
looking for a midrange price wise, at least 17" monnitor, maybe widescreen.
At least 3 gig memory. Dual core processor. I will mostly use it for
email, surfing, some multimedia use.
