The only two ways I know of are to either take care of the issue that is
causing the alert (you didn't mention what the alert is saying) or to
disable that alert (which is not recommended for obvious security reasons).

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Windows Security Alerts Icon

Hello all,
I have the Windows Security Alert icon on the lower right corner of my
screen, down by the clock. How do I get rid of it? Running XP Home.
Thanks,

HB
