I'm afraid this is getting a little out of my league now -- if you have a manual for the motherboard, I would check and see what you can (and can't) mix as far as different sizes of ram goes. Any reputable computer shop should be able to help you out with determining compatibility -- hopefully where you bought it from will exchange it and help you find the right chip to work with what you've got in there already. There's lots more knowledgeable people on this list too who can help you out. I'm just not sure what the "rules" are for mixing ram chips -- maybe do a google seach and see what you can come up with? ~Lacey~ ----- Original Message ----- From: <Foxhillers@xxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 26, 2003 7:07 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Windows (98se) Protection Error > In a message dated 8/26/03 9:12:17 PM Eastern Daylight Time, stormy1@xxxxxxx > writes: > > > maybe they don't "like" each other?
