Roger,
    Once a mystery has been solved, it tends to deflate the wonderful 
anxiety that accompanied it.  If you were to bring your discovery to the 
maker's attention, it may lead to layoff's, extended vacations without pay 
or, perhaps, even firings of those involved in the conspiracy.  I'd say "Go 
for it!"           ;O)
