It would be good if they both ran together. I use the free zone alarm.
I'm getting the cd too. I'm on cable, but don't want to install it yet. My
computer couldn't handle the download at this point - not enough space on it.
Then, I'll have it to install it on my new system when it's built.
time will tell, I suppose!

Information I have read from the folks at ZoneAlarm says that ZoneAlarm's
product work with SP 2 and that both the ZA Firewall and SP2 Firewall can be run
at the same time. I currently run the ZA Firewall and the original MS Internet
Connection Firewall at the same time.

I have not downloaded SP2 yet, I ordered the CD. I would rather install from a
CD and the computer upstairs that is on dial-up would take a very long time to
download. Remember if you want to download it can be done in different
sessions. It will restart downloading where it left off the next time you are
connected to the INTERNET. This might be helpful for folks on dial up.

do you think it is intentional? I've heard that if you disable the xp - sp2's
firewall, zone alarm will continue to work correctly. And the xp sp2 firewall
isn't all that good. I may have heard that from you - (??)

Quite possibly it will. Go to this site and see what programs are
affected.
