Sandi,
    The Firefox issue sounds like the work of one of your security 
extensions.  Are you running NoScript &/or AdBlock Plus?

    The IE issue is likely tied to a permission in the Pop Up blocker built 
into IE.  See if Fastclick has been set to "Allow" anywhere within your 
Options area.  It would likely be within a sub-window (one you can see only 
after clicking an 'Advanced' or 'Custom' type button).
