Perhaps you can find a GPS with a Heads Up display.<BG>
I think a couple of the high end cars have dashes that will do that now for
the speedometer.
I think it is in Tokyo they have a satnav system that links to the traffic
patterns (department of highways or equivalent) and routes you to avoid
backups and accidents.

The computer's too big for the car. I'm looking for a mid ground
solution....perhaps using the LCD screen for my dual band radio for the
