And yes, you can convert an MP3 to a WAV file, but the resulting WAV file 
will not have the fidelity of the original source since some of the audio 
data was lost during the original conversion to MP3 format.  Do a web search 
for 'MP3 to WAV' without the quotes to see what software is available for 
this.  You might even be able to use Audacity or a similar editor for it.
