I think somehow when I installed 2007, maybe my address book got imported
into it from my OE I was using before? Is that possible.

I found a .pst file. It is 1536 kb. Now, I am REALLY confused lol, I always
thought I was using outlook express. That is what I am using now and it
looks like the same email I always have been using.

Christy,

I don't think that is the one you want. That is the OE (Outlook Express)
address book, but I think what you were actually using was Outlook 2000's
Contacts instead. Is that correct? Were you using the Outlook from the
Office 2000 suite or were you really using Outlook Express?

Only do the following if I'm understanding correctly and you are trying to
recover Outlook 2000 address book/contacts.

If you are talking about recovering the Contacts from Outlook 2000 then I'm
not 100% sure what that version used. Newer versions of Outlook store the
Contacts in the .pst file along with your emails, but the 2000 version might
have used a .pab file. Can you please run file searches for *.PAB and *.PST
and let us know what you find?

I searched and found three, all 174 kb, two are from 2005 though and the
other dated Feb 11, 2009 so that must be the one I want. So I looked to see

where it was stored and now what do I do to get it back please ;)

Run a search on your hard drive for '*.wab' without the quotes. Let me know
what comes up. If more than one file is uncovered, let me know the sizes of
each one, too.
