interesting! It's an extra security thing I guess.
so far - those using the full norton system works, seem to be able to run
without the password. Does anyone out there just use Norton 2003 anti-virus? -
with XP ?

I have Win XP, running Norton System Works 2003 which includes NA2003
I was on the phone the other day to Symantec and ordered Norton AV 2004 Pro.
They asked me for a password!
I questioned if I would require a password to use AN2004 Pro and to upgrade
and they said No.
