it is hard - I'm sorry to hear about your dad -
I take my mom to a cancer specialist every couple of months. her apt. is coming
up soon. They thought for sure she had lung cancer too, but couldn't do a biopy
because that would kill her. So she's just been monitored with CT scans - they
decided the last time, that there have been no changes in it - so it isn't
cancer. phew ! but 2 new spots showed up - so we're back to monitoring again.
It's a real shame -
I have asthma - but not bad. exercised induced. my kids too - not bad though.
luckily - more and more people are coming up with asthma - and more and more
children. My allergist thinks they are environmental allergies triggoring it
because nothing shows up in the standard tests. Who knows!

Hi cris,

My dad had severe emphysema as well. Unfortunately, he passed away last
December from sarcoma of the lungs a rare lung cancer. He had a tumor in his
windpipe from the lung to the windpipe. It is hard to watch someone suffer with
breathing problems. I have asthma/allergies myself and it is scarey not to
breathe.
