Don't know what you mean by a set top player? The DVDs I am burning are to be shown on DVD players attached to a TV. My Mother's DVD player will show the LVC DVD I burned with no problem on her player but my DVD player, the DVDs stutter. Of course her DVD player was way more expensive than mine. But the Sony DVDs played correctly on mine but the LVC DVDs don't??? Now why should this make a difference. Judith ______________ Judith, Most, if not all, computer DVD burners use a differently powered laser than set top players to do their thing (I'm sorry, but I don't recall whether they're stronger or weaker at the moment). In either case, the burner that recorded it should not be used for creating disks meant for PC viewing. It's simply not creating clear enough disks to be fully trusted with important stuff. The difference doesn't always show up like this, but it's not an uncommon problem.
