looks good to me Robin! and I've configured many a Dell for my own
customers and on my job.
a couple of things I would upgrade - the modem, go for a hardware based
modem if you are on dial up rather than one that will depend on your
operating system. the NIC - I have never trusted on board NICs and would
upgrade to a PCI one.
I don't see the neccessity for Word Perfect if you have a licensed copy of
Office 2K... and I sincerely doubt that you would notice much difference
between the processors for that kind of money!
