Grisoft will be discontinuing AVG Free 7.1 on Jan. 15.
But that's nothing to worry about. Grisoft has replaced it with AVG 
Free 7.5. An upgrade! You can go ahead and download it now.

If you click above on the link , you are brought to the site for the new
(still free) version. 
Download, but instead of installing it, run the repair option and then 
you'll be notified that you have the new version of AVG. (it sort of 
upgrades your present version) And don't forget to update it. You'll see 
what I mean as it's running the repair/update.
