I've run into this too. Oddly, by using both the 'Update ' on the left panel and also 'Internal Virus Update' it seems to avoid these discrepancies. It would appear that the 'Internal Virus Update' doesn't get updated unless you click on it and select 'update' on the bottom of the panel george ----- Original Message ----- From: "milady" <kg6ocz@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "pctechtalk" <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, February 27, 2004 10:22 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- AVG > Now I am having trouble with AVG.. I keep getting told the data base is two weeks out of date and I just updated. I deleted and reinstalled and still I get that. but when I try to update again I get told the system IS up to date.. go figure.. I don't know whether it is or not. The file itself shows up in update folder for AVG that I just updated with. sighhhhh. Me thinks they am a bug a foot.. > *~<*> Mary Lou<*>~* > /\ - / To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
