Sadly, the same problem still exists. It's the log on -- log off loop, just as it was before. I don't know if I should have replaced all of the userinit.exe files with the one we knew was good. Of course, I don't know if that would have helped. I do have the Host computer for the rest of the afternoon, if there are any more suggestions. Finding a XP Home SP3 CD to get into the repair console would be beyond my capability. Gman, you have gone way above and beyond with your assistance and I thank you for all of it.
