Billy OK...have you gone back into CMOS setup and made it auto configure the harddrives? Then save the results? Are the little white/black plastic blocks (jumpers) on the back of the HDs...the ones that set..Master/Slave etc? Correctly set also.? Tried swapping the cables and the IDE connection... Swap IDE 1 for IDE 2. and so forth. Just in case one of the IDE connections has died...motherboard problem. In Control panel,- systems,- hardware...are there any yellow exclamiation points or red question marks next to the HD list? That is all I can think of right now. shubert Regards, John Durham (list moderator) <http://modecideas.com/contact.html?sig> Freelists login at //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi List archives at //www.freelists.org/archives/pchelpers PC-HELPERS list subscribe/unsub at http://modecideas.com/discuss.htm?sig Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
