He was told to go to the reg and delete every key that had CMI in it. So I went to my reg looking for every key that had Ethernet in it. Most I could delete, but there was three that would not delete. I got the message that there was an error in deleting the key. I switched over to safemode and login as the Amd. And still couldn't delete the three keys. I then RT click the key and clicked on permissions. It showed permissions was set for "Everybody" and "System" but the "full Control" box wasn't checked. I checked that box and then was able to delete the key. I checked the whole reg and the full control box wasn't checked so I checked it. Don't know if portions of the reg is suppose to be Read only, but it isn't now.
