There is an easier way. Just get a DVD player.(Your friend probably already
has one.) But make sure the specs on it specifically say it can play CD's
and MP3's. My wife got a DVD player ( for the television set) from Walmart
for $49.00. It plays MP3's but it had a problem with the format of one MP3
that I put in it. It has no trouble with the ones from the Watchtower
Society. On my computer, my Optorite CDBurner will play MP3's through
Windows Media Player and Real Player. I also just tried MP3's in my regular
CD Drive and it plays them too. My computer drives have no problem with that
one the DVD player couldn't play. Like you, I have not heard of a personal
portable CD player that plays MP3's.
