CMT ARTISTS OF THE YEAR NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) A big deal for some big
country stars. CMT has named Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Florida
Georgia Line, Luke Bryan and Thomas Rhett as their 2016 artists of the
year. The TV network also says Kelsea Ballerini will receive an award
for breakout artist of the year. It's the first time Stapleton and
Rhett have snared the artist of the year award. However, Stapleton did
win the breakout artist award last year. The artists will be honored at
an event in Nashville, Tennessee on Oct. 20. RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS -
LOS ANGELES RAMS NEW YORK (AP) Flea says he has always been a fan of
the Los Angeles Rams even when they weren't in Los Angeles. Now he is
getting his team back and his band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be
helping to welcome them home. The group will perform at the Los Angeles
Memorial Coliseum before the Rams take on the Seattle Seahawks. The
game will be the first NFL game in Los Angeles in 22 years. The Rams
returned to Los Angeles this season after moving to St. Louis in 1994.
BEYONCÉ - ENGAGEMENT ST. LOUIS (AP) For a while, the Formation tour
became the engagement tour. Beyoncé has helped the boyfriend of one of
her backup dancers "put a ring on it. The singer paused in her
performance of her song "Single Ladies" during Saturday's tour stop in
St. Louis to bring out her choreographer John Silver. He was the
boyfriend of dancer Ashley Everett. That was, at least, until Silver
takes the mic from Bey and asks Everett to marry him. After Everett
said yes, Beyoncé offered her congratulations before finishing the
song. In an Instagram post, Everett says she was "totally shocked and
surprised" and that it was the best night of her life. MIGUEL FEATURED
IN TRAILER FOR "FIFTY SHADES" SEQUEL UNDATED (AP) You've probably heard
just about everyone do a take of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love. But you
probably won't get the same feeling as you will when you hear the one
featuring Miguel. That's because it's used over footage from the
upcoming movie "Fifth Shades Darker" the sequel to the steamy saga
"Fifty Shades of Grey. The trailer for the movie just released by
Universal Pictures features Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan in scenes
from the movie. It comes out Feb. 10 in time for Valentine's Day, just

OF JONATHAN DEMME FILM TORONTO (AP) Jonathan Demme is best known for
his fiction films like "The Silence of the Lambs" and "Philadelphia.
But he says he has a keen desire to do concert films. His latest is
being screened this week at the Toronto International Film Festival and
it features Justin Timberlake. Demme trained his cameras on the final
shows Timberlake did in Las Vegas as part of his two-year "20/20" tour.

on Netflix on Oct. 12. CONGRESS AND TICKET SALES WASHINGTON (AP) It's
happened to just about all of us who have tried to score tickets to a
concert: you wait until the nanosecond that tickets go on sale online
only to find that they're all gone the instant you get through. Of
course, no one can log in that fast but bots can. And they do, snapping
up all the good seats and setting up resellers for a killing. Congress
is working on the problem. A House panel has passed a measure that
would crack down on the use of computerized software to buy tickets. A
