TAYLOR SWIFT REWARDS APPLE MUSIC WITH "1989 NEW YORK (AP) Taylor Swift
will allow Apple Music to be the only outlet that may stream her "1989"
album. Swift tweets it's the first time it's felt right in her gut to
stream her album. Swift got into a showdown with Apple earlier this
week, demanding Apple pay royalties to artists during Apple Music's
free three-month trial period. Apple was not going to do so initially
but agreed to pay after Swift's public letter. Swift says in case
you're wondering if it's some exclusive deal similar to other ones
Apple has done with artists, it's not. JUDGE RULES IN FAVOR OF B.B.
KING'S MANAGER LAS VEGAS (AP) A judge has ruled B.B. King's longtime
business manager will remain executor of his estate, over the
objections of four of King's daughters. The daughters had challenged
their father's will from January 2007 that named Laverne Toney in
charge of his estate. A lawyer for the daughters accused Toney of
looting King's bank accounts and keeping relatives away while King was
dying. Toney's attorney says King put Toney in charge because he
expected a family feud after he died. King died last month at the age
of 89. COURTNEY LOVE CAUGHT IN FIGHTS BETWEEN FRENCH CABBIES AND UBER
DRIVERS PARIS (AP) Courtney Love tweeted she felt safer in Baghdad than
she did in France after being caught in the unrest between French taxi
drivers and those for the web-based transport company Uber. Love
tweeted yesterday her car was ambushed and beaten with metal bats in
Paris, and the driver was held hostage. She did not say what kind of
car she was in. She later tweeted a photo of herself and two
motorcyclists she says she paid to sneak her out of the unrest. French
taxi drivers staged a country-wide strike that they say was to protest
unlicensed Uber drivers undercutting their profits. JOSH HOMME TOURS
WITH EAGLES OF DEATH METAL LONDON (AP) Josh Homme (HAH'-mee) of Queens
of the Stone Age never gets to tour with his side project, Eagles of
Death Metal, because of scheduling conflicts. Homme says he's always
the one standing by the "psychological train station" with his
handkerchief waving goodbye, and this time he gets to go. Eagles of
Death Metal are currently touring Europe and will release an album in
the fall. Homme formed the band with his childhood friend, Jesse
Hughes, AKA Boots Electric. Homme says Boots' enthusiasm for music and
life and his tendency to say something wildly inappropriate is good for

audience of thousands every night who are not there to see him. He sees
it as an opportunity. Joy is opening for Taylor Swift on her current
tour. He says it's amazing how an arena can feel intimate when the
lights go out. Joy says he's lucky that Swift fans are "super welcoming
and warm" and he gets a charge of electricity when he hits the stage.
He also has a new friend with Swift. He calls her "lovely. KENNY
LOGGINS WILL APPEAR ON "PLAYING HOUSE UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. (AP) On
the USA Network show "Playing House," Emma and Maggie have bonded over
singing Kenny Loggins songs. Loggins will play himself in the season
finale on September 9. Emma and Maggie will go to a Loggins concert but
