NICKELBACK CANCEL SUMMER TOUR NEW YORK (AP) The Nickelback tour is off
because singer Chad Kroeger (KROO'-ger) has a cyst on his voice box.
The band say on their website Kroeger will have surgery in three weeks
and will be required to rest. Kroeger says he's not thrilled with the
prospect of being silent for weeks when he could be playing for fans.
All dates through September have been canceled. Nickelback plan to tour
Europe in the fall. SEAN "DIDDY" COMBS SAYS HE ACTED IN SELF-DEFENSE
LOS ANGELES (AP) Sean "Diddy" Combs says he was defending himself and
his son at UCLA in an incident that led to Combs' arrest. A statement
from Combs' representative says he's confident once the facts are
revealed, the case will be dismissed. Combs was arrested Monday for an

Jessie J is hoping to give out just enough personal information so you
don't bother her for personal information. Jessie J posted a photo on
Instagram that shows her recovering in a hospital bed. She says she had
an operation earlier this week and she doesn't want to give details,
only that it was not for her voice or her heart. Jessie J asks fans not
to bug her or people close to her for information because it's
personal. She says the reason she's saying anything is because she may
disappear for a while to recover. POLICE EJECT AS MANY AS 300 PEOPLE AT
KENNY CHESNEY/JASON ALDEAN SHOW GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Police say 250 to
300 people were kicked out of a concert featuring Kenny Chesney and
Jason Aldean in Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Saturday. By
comparison, about 25 ejections are typical for a Green Bay Packers
game. Green Bay Police Captain Paul Ebel tells Press-Gazette Media he
doesn't remember ever handling an event so busy for police at the
stadium. Most of those concertgoers were ejected because of fighting,
harassment or extreme intoxication. Police arrested 25 people.
Chesney's 2011 concert at Lambeau Field resulted in 15 arrests and 60
ejections. LIL WAYNE SKIPS SHOW AFTER ENTOURAGE REFUSES SECURITY
PATDOWN MINNEAPOLIS (AP) A Minneapolis nightclub says Lil Wayne's

refused to take the stage. The Venue on First Avenue says on its

patdowns and go through metal detectors, and they would not provide
identification before entering the club Sunday. Lil Wayne was allowed
in but he decided not to perform. His representative did not return
calls for comment. BIEBER BODYGUARD SENTENCED TO JAIL TIME ATLANTA (AP)
Justin Bieber's security guard will spend 45 days in jail for taking a
photographer's camera. Court records say Hugo Hesny pleaded no contest
last week to two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. Photographer
Jason Winslow told police he was trying to take pictures of Bieber
outside an arcade near Atlanta in February 2014. Wilson says Hesny
chased him, opened the door to his vehicle and took his camera. Hesny
initially told police he didn't take the camera, but when police found
it in an SUV used by Bieber's entourage, Hesny said he only wanted to
delete the photos taken outside the arcade. DEF LEPPARD'S VIVIAN
CAMPBELL FINDS WAY TO TREAT CANCER AND STILL TOUR UNDATED (AP) Last
week Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell was crushed because his
cancer had returned and he would have to miss out playing concerts.
This week he's elated because his doctors found a way around it.
Campbell writes on Facebook rather than use radiation to treat his
Hodgkins lymphoma, his doctors have steered him to an alternative
treatment. He doesn't get specific about it. Campbell will join the Def
Leppard tour Saturday in Birmingham, Alabama. He says his future
treatments will work around his touring schedule, so he should not have
to miss any more shows. FLAVOR FLAV CASE IN NEVADA AFFECTS HIS CASE IN
NEW YORK MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) Flavor Flav's arrest in Nevada last month
is having repercussions on his New York case on similar charges. Flav
has pleaded not guilty to speeding and driving without a license
stemming from his arrest while driving to his mother's funeral on Long
Island in January 2014. One of his attorneys indicated Flav was
considering a guilty plea to settle the New York case. However,
prosecutors say they were inclined to go to trial after Flav's arrest
in Las Vegas on charges of speeding and marijuana possession last
month. Flav says he's a little disappointed because he thought it would
all go away yesterday, but it just means he's got to come back. PASSION
