DESIIGNER FREED NEW YORK (AP) Desiigner is out of jail and the gun
charge against him has been dropped. The New York Daily News reports
Desiigner appeared in court Saturday on menacing and drug possession
charges. His lawyer says Desiigner was released without bail because no
weapon was found. New York City police say Desiigner was pulled over
Thursday night after he allegedly waved a handgun at another driver in
a road rage incident. Upon leaving court, Desiigner said when "you're
doing right ... keeping it positive, they can't lock you down. MEAT
LOAF SAYS HIS ONSTAGE COLLAPSE WAS OVERHYPED LONDON (AP) Meat Loaf had
no idea his collapse on stage in Edmonton, Alberta, in June would be
that big of a deal. He says he figured it would make the news in
Edmonton, but he did interviews with reporters in Japan and in Thailand
and that was the first question. He says there are much bigger things
to report than that. If Meat Loaf ever does die on stage, his band is
ready. He says he's instructed his band to play "When The Saints Go
Marching In," then "Take Me Out To The Ball Game. He says if it's too
morbid to leave his body on stage, they can remove him and then play
the songs. Meat Loaf's new album, "Braver Than We Are," is out Friday.
