SEARCH WARRANT SERVED AT CHRIS BROWN'S HOUSE LOS ANGELES (AP) A
standoff at Chris Brown's house in Los Angeles yesterday ended
peacefully. A police spokesman says several people were escorted from
the house after a search warrant was served. Brown was later busted on
suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. A woman had called police
around 3 a.m. yesterday asking for assistance. The spokesman says she
was not inside the house when she called but he did not say who she was
or what kind of assistance she needed. Brown had posted videos to
social media saying he was innocent. Model Baylee Curran tells the Los
Angeles Times that Brown pointed a gun at her face. She said Brown and
another man became angry with her when she admired the man's diamond
necklace. EMINEM HELPS GET SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO STUDENTS IN FLINT FLINT,
Mich. (AP) All 5,500 public school students in Flint, Michigan, are
getting backpacks full of school supplies thanks to a partnership with
Eminem's charity. The Marshall Mathers Foundation teamed up with the
Kids In Need Foundation to provide the backpacks. The first ones were
given out at Freeman Elementary School yesterday. Kids In Need director
Dave Smith says Flint was economically challenged even before the 2014
water crisis. He says the backpacks are one way of getting school
supplies to kids so they don't have to worry about that. 5 SECONDS OF
SUMMER PROMPTED GOOD CHARLOTTE REUNION LONDON (AP) Good Charlotte may
not have made another record if it weren't for 5 Seconds Of Summer.
Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden says when he and his brother Joel
started working with 5 Seconds Of Summer, they realized they had
something to say that they couldn't pass along in a song to a younger
band. Madden says within one day back in the studio, Good Charlotte had
written the song "Life Changes" on their "Youth Authority" album. The
songs came quickly after that. Joel Madden says they wrote 16 songs and
