BARBRA STREISAND GETS ACTORS TO SING MALIBU, Calif. (AP) The people who
duet with Barbra Streisand on her new album are not ones you usually
think of as singers. Among Streisand's guests on "Encore: Movie
Partners Sing Broadway" are Daisy Ridley, Chris Pine and Bradley
Cooper. Alec Baldwin wasn't going to do it but Streisand told him if it
was terrible, she wouldn't use it. He made it onto the album. Melissa
McCarthy told Streisand she can't sing, and Streisand admits McCarthy
is "a little bit tone deaf. However, Streisand says McCarthy
compensates with personality and laughter, and occasionally she nails
it. Others who appear on the album are Seth MacFarlane, Jamie Foxx,
Anne Hathaway and Huge Jackman. "Encore" comes out Friday. McDONALD'S
RESPONDS TO KANYE WEST'S FRENCH FRY POEM OAK BROOK, Ill. (AP) The
french fries are onto you, Kanye. McDonald's corporate Twitter account
sent out a tweet to Kanye West with an emoji of french fries and eyes,
implying "we're watching you. West wrote a poem about McDonald's fries,
conspiracies and jealousy from other food for Frank Ocean's Boys Don't
Cry magazine that accompanies Ocean's "Blonde" album. McDonald's main
Twitter account says it's "lovin' the love" for its fries and apple pie
and it loves its fans' creativity. REPORT: PRINCIPAL TO BLAME FOR NOT
FOLLOWING PROTOCOL FOR FETTY WAP VIDEO PATERSON, N.J. (AP) An
investigation into Fetty Wap's (WOPS) video at his old high school in
Paterson, New Jersey, has determined the principal should be
disciplined. Fetty filmed a video for "Wake Up" at Eastside High School
that features drug references and a scantily-clad woman swinging around
a stripper pole. NJ.com obtained a copy of a report made by a law firm
called to investigate the matter. The investigation found principal
Zatiti Moody was solely responsible and did not follow all the
requirements of the school board's regulations. The report recommended
Moody face "appropriate discipline. He has been on administrative leave
since June. His lawyer declined comment. FOALS MELD TWO SONG IDEAS TO
GET "WHAT WENT DOWN CHICAGO (AP) The Foals song "What Went Down" was
supposed to be two songs. Guitarist Jimmy Smith says it was two pieces
they had for a while and they decided to glue them together. Drummer
Jack Bevan says it went so well, they used the first take they
recorded. Foals will be dropping off the scene for a while but it's for
their own good. Bevan says after some time off, they'll be excited to
get together with fresh ideas. It's not like they're going their
separate ways, though, because they're all good friends. Bevan says he
lives five minutes from singer Yannis Philippakis, so they're bound to
