GRAMMYS - KENDRICK LAMAR LEADS WITH 11 NOMINATIONS LOS ANGELES (AP)
Kendrick Lamar doesn't have to be reminded that having the most
nominations in a given year at the Grammys is no guarantee of success.
The history of the awards is full of artists who thought they might
need a wheelbarrow for their haul only to go home empty-handed or with
just one or two. But Lamar is in the position of having 11 nominations
going into tonight's awards most of any artist. His nods include those
for album of the year for "To Pimp a Butterfly" and song of the year
for "Alright. Taylor Swift and The Weeknd have seven nominations.
