So do I. I was engrossed in typing something at work when one of my
colleagues came in and said that a plane had crashed into the World Trade
Center. I muttered something about how awful that was, and kept on typing.
When my colleague had gone, the full impact of what she had said hit me. I
went out to her desk, and said: "What did you just say to me?" By that
time, the office radio was on, and every time a bulletin came on, everybody
stopped what they were doing to hear it. Later, I got home as fast as I
could, and watched television reports for the rest of the evening. Devon.

I remember exactly where I was when it happened 15 years ago. I was at my
parents' house. At 6 that morning, my brother called to tell Mom that we had
been attacked by terrorists. Mom woke me up to tell me the news and I could
hardly believe what I was hearing. I was in such shock and disbelieff. I
thought "how could something so terrible happen on American soil".
