That is what I said.

Just go for dbms_random then. At least it's a little cheaper from the
resources perspective.

There is (few) good applications on the market around where you can
relate DB transactions to an Oracle transactions however.

Because the number is meaningless.

It doesn't matter what number you pull out of the v$hat, they don't
mean anything from a business perspective.
