anyone know what session-switching is?

We hit a bug in 10.2.0.1 related to this.

ORA-600[17281] can occur when doing a session-switch in UPI mode.
Oracle support mentioned that this happens with forms alot(we are not using
forms). I can't get them to explain to me what the problem is. Anyone know?
They mentioned something about
session 1: opens cursor
session 2: tries to close the cursor.
any idea why this would happen?
