I can confirm the problem in the current release. Below are screenshots from our internal dev builds, and it appears to be fixed in the 'future.' It's not the java, it's our framework. PS Pay no mind to the '12c' label. These aren't the droids you're looking for. I can't comment on release dates, but if you can limp along on another font, this will be addressed for you soon.
