yeah, but don't be confused. 85% of all digital content
is flat files. Let's just say that seismic data, 
imagery, video, office docs, html and so on just don't belong
in a database...and certainly not storage that has a database
interface.

Yes, Veritas is too expensive. They have a legacy Unix pricing
structure.
