Hello everyone,
Just read through new post in Steave Chan BLOG "10gR2 Database Split Configurations for Release 11i" http://blogs.oracle.com/schan/2006/06/28#a376
In that context I have got the following question: - How many Oracle shops using "Split" configuration ? - How many use "Shared APPL_TOP" configuration ? - How many of us use separate APPL_TOP for each APPS host involved in PROD env executing - How many of us keep CM tier on the same server as DB executed?
Just wonder if we can make a short survey other here (in the list). Please find description of two enterprise configuration that I currently working with. Feel free to copy my Q&A and share your configuration with rest of us.
