Patching doubt--Need advice

Hi gurus,
I have a patch 4337683--exists for Sun Solaris 32 bit in metalink--- But
this is implicitly superseded by 11i.AD.I.3 and our existed patch_level
in TEST instance is 11i.AD.I.4.
My question is , I am not able to see the patch number 4337683 in my
instance though my patch level is superceeded to AD.I.4. This patch is a
pre-requisite to main patch. Can any one advice me does it necessary that
this bug number includes in the higher patch level?. Or should I need to
apply it in its absence.
