I tried to switch off occasionally once I started using the Optacon II
but, my brain just did not do well with this, my right hand was not as
good at recognition, and my left, despite the fact that it is my braille
reading hand, was not as good a tracker.

So, even Optacon II users mostly use their left hands to read, even
though the display's position allows the right hand to be used? If so,
it is because we learned to use our left hands to read on the optacon
R1X models?
