Good morning list,

I guess most people know about what I use my optacon for, but will mention
it again briefly for the newer people. I used my optacon for over 15 years
to read computer screens in my programming career; have used it to read
appliance instructions, income tax forms, W-2 forms that contain lots of
small boxes with tiny print in them, and the usual books, catalogs, food
packages and cans. I use the CRT lens when Windows crashes, or when I get a
new PC and need to install Windows for the first time. I've used it to read
computer keyboards to learn what the keys are. It also comes in handy when
there's new equipment around--stereo, kitchen appliances, or PC peripherals)
and I need to know what the labels on the buttons are. I used it to label a
new microwave oven's flat panel display.
