How would a One-Handed Optacon Work?

I have trouble featuring being able to point my finger straight out at some
of the angles where the camera sometimes needs to go. For instance, how do
you point your finger straight up against the computer screen for a length
of time while running the camera across without causing some real
discomfort? Then, too, how do you adjust the zoom when there's nowhere to
stick the lever to move the lens inside the camera? I guess, too, I'd be
afraid of the camera becoming much heavier with all the tactile stuff built
right into it. I wouldn't rule out the one-handed Optacon, but I do have
some concerns.
