Faced with licensing issues, people are creating content - both music and spoken word - and distributing it. Programs like "iPodder" automate retrieval of programs. Programs like former MTV VJ Adam Curry's "Daily Source Code" - with high production value - to unsigned bands pressing record on their MP3 player/recorder are finding audiences. Television stations are even recording their news (audio) and making it available on the internet. The radio industry is seeing the change. Video versions of the iPod are out there now and file sharing networks are passing programming and movies around (albeit illegal). Legal video content providers won't be far behind, just as they are appearing at a rate to 10 to 20 a day now for audio services. Don Moore -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
