Hmmm...and I was on the phone with the top Infinite Loop support engineer for THREE hours yesterday trying to figure out why our new 2.8TB Xserve RAID was reporting 0.0B to the Xserve G5. After that started working again (for absolutely no apparent reason), we tackled the problem with failed system update downloads on the Xserve. Turns out the server needed an updated Ethernet driver (that's right, the SERVER had bad ethernet drivers!), but then I couldn't download updates, so I was stuck. "Keep trying" was the word, and finally, on the 30th or so attempt, the update downloaded and was successfully applied.
