However I failed in Jacksonville since it turned out to be $6-7 cheaper to actually keep the basic service than to drop it, assuming you keep the broadband. With that sort of pricing it is just not rationally possible to drop basic so I don't think you will find many doing it. But there will probably be many irate customers that will drop extended in favor of just basic+broadband. Or broadband-only in areas like Cox that have no broadband+basic discount anymore.
