Did I get this right? So, you have to pay $5 for something that should be free? And I suppose with every new version of Flash, another $5?

Most App upgrades are free and virtually automatic - the main exception seems to be games where big upgrades and add on packs may have a fee. Would you rather pay 99 cents ( or as much as $4-5 for a game, or $49.95 like most console games?


I didn't spend time looking through the documentation to see if this is a real power-hungry app, or if even that bit was all BS.

Does it matter. The user can decide if they want this and live with the consequences in terms of battery life.
