But whether the DSP is any more complex than 2nd generation receivers is questionable. From what Lynx described, it seems not. I'm assuming these two designs are somewhat similar. The Lynx receiver was not priced any higher than previous receivers, nor did it need any more equalizer taps. A receiver that manages to achieve performance better than NTSC, with the full 3.3 b/s/Hz, just can't be described with an "at least." And I don't rule out more improvements. Although I don't know even in general terms what the LG design is.
