Hi Axel, last time I used the OBOS media pref (against R5 media kit), it was proposing to start the media server when it wasn't running. And the GUI was hidden until the start actually happened. The code for doing what you say is present and was ok. Please try with the R5 Media kit to be sure about this. If not present with the R5 Media kit, this bug should be somewhere in the OBOS media kit. I'll verify this. Some changes may have introduced this bug then. Thanks.
