How many integers in the suffix? Just moved to a 5 digit that coincides with Albany Medical Center resident suffix, Dental Residents will move to a 5 digit in 2015 2. Does it contain both number and letters? Just numbers 3. Is the suffix recycled and if so how often? Numbers recycle every 3 years 4. Have you considered using the employee’s ID number as the suffix which many be as long as 7 digits. Not considered yet. *********************************************************************************************** Thomas P Lombardi, BS, PharmD, RPh, FASHP System Director of Pharmacy O 518.525.1266 F 518.525.1917 Private Fax 518-944-2365 Thomas.lombardi@xxxxxxxx St. Peter’s Health Partners 315 S. I’m inquiring about the suffix (numeric code) that hospitals assign to residents and other prescribers that is intended to be used in conjunction with the institutional DEA number. 1. How many integers in the suffix? 2. Does it contain both number and letters? 3. Is the suffix recycled and if so how often? 4. Have you considered using the employee’s ID number as the suffix which many be as long as 7 digits. Please respond through the listserv. Thank you Elizabeth A.
