Haaaaa!  That would be a feat since Linux never ran on x86 earlier than
386.  There was a 286 port at one time, Elks or something like that.
Don't know that it ever booted a kernel on the intended hardware.

I would like to have a peek at the hw you describe though.  Before it
hits the museum that is.
