Now that's funny! I mean, laugh-out-loud kind of funny! It is not the best, it boots from an 8-inch floppy, and takes two people to lift. The processor is an 8086 with 16K RAM. It has a separate power supply on a wheeled cart that only runs on 220V, and the screen (3 inch B/W LCD) has a big Fresnel viewing lens to magnify it. But it should be OK to load up CP/M or an early edition of Debian. -- "Life is too short, to spend it waiting for slow hardware to do something..." -Dev On Wed, April 4, 2007 8:29 am, Chuck Stickelman wrote: > I actually have three old laptops. > * One I just picked up from David, but it has no power cord so I can't > recharge the battery, and I haven't gone to Radio Shack yet. > * Another is about to loose it's LCD screen; it's being held on w/ > duct tape. > * The last one has it's hard drive removed, and I can't seem to locate > the system to reunite the two. > > I'd lone any of them out for a short bit if they were in any shape to be > used as laptops.
