Ok, sorry all of the long delay.   My dad had a heart attack and I have been
busy with that.  He is ok and doing fine after triple bypass.

Here is what I go once I issued the below command.

kc8tdw@server:~$ ls -ld /var/www /var/www/images /var/www/images/logo.gif
ls: /var/www/images/logo.gif: No such file or directory
drwxr-xr-x 12 kc8tdw root   4096 2008-06-16 23:49 /var/www
drwxr-xr-x  6 kc8tdw kc8tdw 4096 2006-12-20 01:25 /var/www/images
kc8tdw@server:~$
