We sell M-Audio keyboards that can connect to your Mac via USB
starting at $129.99, and then you can access all the great sounds
including Pianos in GarageBand. We have a KeyRig49 setup in the
showroom at Mostly Digital if your wife would like to see how the
keyboard feels. If you want something with a piano touch ("weighted
feel") then it will cost a bit more. The M-Audio Keystation series has
a 61 key model with "semi-weighted" keys going for $199.99, and for an
even better piano feel the ProKeys 88sx goes for $459.99.
